❌Hong Kong Police VIOLENT?

China's attitude towards HK riots is like a mom watching her daughter smashing her own room.

I was forbidden to post it on my facebook. They said the video has violated their principle. WTF??

This comment states what's happening in HK:

"The HK rioters mostly are misguided youth. There is a reason why most of the most violent rioters are young people, and that is because they are brought up in a post-colonial HK where they did not witness the brutalities suffered by Chinese in HK under British imperialist rule. They were taught only good things about the West in schools that are the remnant of colonial education at the end of British rule in HK, where the education took on a sharply anti-China turn in the remaining decade leading up to return of HK to China. The British did this in the 1980s and 1990s before the handover in order to inculcate a sense of pro-Western, anti-Chinese sentiment in a form of indoctrination in the education system to ensure that HK would remain loyal to the West even after its return to China. We see the results of these now as those under-40s hold extremely anti-China ways of thinking, while the vast majority of the above-40s are pro-China. Why? Because they were not under the new form of indoctrination campaign used before the end of British rule, and also because the older generation of HKers lived through the injustice of British rule. Those who lived under British rule would recall the riots or protests that happened so often over various issues such as wages, inequality, lack of freedoms and being forced to sing the British anthem and worship the British royalty and colonial flag, and yet these HKers did not even have the right to be called British citizens, only subjects of the British Empire. With such treatment of the HK Chinese, no wonder so much social unrest occurred. The HK youth today do not know their past, they believe HK was a paradise under the British and that the mainland took that utopia away. In fact, it is the complete opposite. Only with return to China did the HK Chinese finally have the right to be called citizens of a country, the PRC, and the right to appreciate their own cultural heritage, which was suppressed under British rule through Western systems of education, values, cultural norms and legal, economic systems. The HK people now enjoy freedoms they never had during British rule, even have somewhat more privileges than mainlanders, yet they claim to want more freedoms. They bite the hand that feeds them, that freed them even, and wave the flags of hostile nations whose only aim is to contain China and restrict the rightful, development of the Chinese civilisation. It is like black people fighting black people and at the same time begging for the white supremacist Ku Klux Klan to save them. There is nothing more absurd than this atrocity."
